Description:
When using GM Gen IV and V V8 engine blocks in applications that will not be using Active Fuel Management AFM, Displacement On Demand DOD or the AFM/DOD lifters you must block the oil flow passages in the block. If you do not do so you will have a significant internal oil leak causing low oil pressure problems. This kit includes a high ratio compound hand riveter and special M8 blind sealing plugs for plugging the AFM/DOD holes in GM Gen IV and V V8 engine blocks. The kit includes enough rivets to complete three engine blocks. Additional rivets are available from LPE. Block plugging process is compatible with factory and aftermarket valley covers.
