LS9 cylinder heads are precision CNC machined on our in house 5 axis CNC machine to ensure that tight tolerances are maintained. The Lingenfelter CNC porting procedure is a computer controlled machining operation that duplicates details from a finished Lingenfelter hand ported cylinder head. The port and chambers are carefully designed to provide the best combination of high flow capabilities across the entire valve lift range. The Lingenfelter quality control procedures include sectioning sample cylinder heads to confirm minimum wall thicknesses.

Following porting each head receives: Precision 3 angle valve job to maximize flow & provide extended life, CC checking chamber size for correct compression, surfacing to insure deck flatness, deburring, pressure testing, professional assembly, setting spring height & checking all tolerances, and serial number.

Intake runner volume - LPE CNC: 275cc - Stock GM: 261cc
Exhaust runner volume - LPE CNC: 93cc - Stock GM: 89cc

Stock LS9 Chambers are 68.6 cc
LPE LS9 CNC ported chamber volume are available from 73.8 - 65 cc
68.6 cc requires .028" surfacing
65.0 cc requires 0.050" surface

- Reuse your supplied 2.165 Light-weight titanium intake valves
- Reuse your supplied 1.59 High performance hollow stem sodium filled exhaust valves
- Reuse your supplied GM LS9 valve spring retainers & valve locks
- GM Intake & Exhaust Valve Seals

Prices include checking your valve guides for proper size, if your heads require guide replacement the cost is $9.50 per guide.

Minimum of 4.00 bore size recommended with this cylinder head.
